What We Do
Adolescents and young adults who grew up in highly adverse environments and circumstances, may not have had the same opportunity to develop the emotional management, planning, and adaptive skills needed for success in their next stages of life.
ARCS-SPAN provides a bridge for these adolescents and young adults to pursue independence, purpose and meaning in their lives. We work for these positive outcomes through our resilience programs, individualized resilience education, mentorship, connections to community, resources and longer-term support. |
Our Mission
Create, develop and teach life span resilience-based systems and programs for at-risk and undersupported adolescents that aim to strengthen internal asset development, positive adaptation, facilitate community connections and access to resource supports.

Assisting Adolescents and Young Adults
We provide at-risk and undersupported adolescents and young adults with resilience education, mentorship, and longer-term support.
Developing Resilience Curriculum and StrategiesWe have developed resilience curriculum through research, collaboration with members of the community, and with input from the program participants. Continuous refinement of the curriculum has resulted in higher levels of engagement and understanding.
Collaborate with CommunityWe collaborate with community members to develop resilience curriculum and strategies, provide mentorship, and create new projects for adolescents and young adults.
